The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency counts six kidnappings last year while the El Paso Police Department contends there were none at all.

If approved by voters, the stormwater referendum would have the same force as an ordinance approved by City Council and would stop the operation of the stormwater utility by the El Paso Water Utilities’ Public Service Board until operational authority is established under City Council.

Last year's Writer's Guild strike took a great choke hold on Hollywood. The movies were not as plentiful and not really as good. There was not a large list to choose from this year. There were very few women in sparkling roles. All of that is clearly evident in this year's line-up.
