New paintings by Juarez artist, Veronica Leiton, will open on Friday September 5th at FORUM Arts and Culture.
These new works continue her investigation of vibrant use of color, put to masterful use in the abstraction of the desert and urban landscapes of El Paso and Juarez.
Veronica Leiton, is currently the closest thing to an "art star" that you will find along the border of Northern Mexico. She was born in Santiago, Chile in 1964 and lives and works in Juarez. She has a B.A. in Audio-Visual Communications from the Universidad de Arte y Ciencias Sociale and also studied gold and silver work at Escuela Nacional de Artesanía in Chile, getting a degree as an Instructor in Crafts. Veronica has been dedicated to professional painting for 22 years.
There will be a reception from 5 till 8pm on Friday, September 5th. The reception is open to the public.
