Wednesday Music Café, LGBT QI and Delta Lambda Phi invite you to pack some extra glitter in your lunch as we bring drag queens back to campus when we present Attack of the Evil Queens:A Halloween Drag Show on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 from noon to 1 p.m. at the UTEP Union Plaza. As always, admission is FREE and open to the public.
This year’s fabulous line up includes Samson,Mr. Gay USofA At Large; Diamond, The Most Beautiful Girl in Texas; Melina Demarko, Lubbock’s Entertainer of the Year; Cassandra Paige Jones, Ms. Gay San Angelo;Luna DeSante and Viktoria DeMarco.
TheUTEP LGBT QI is a student organization whose mission is to provide support and is working toward providing a safe environment for LGBT students on campus and in the community. Delta Lambda Phi is a gay fraternity whose mission is to enhance the quality of life among Gay, Bisexual and Progressive Men by providing dignified and purposeful social, service and recreational activities.
Wednesday Music Café provides UTEP students, faculty, staff and the El Paso/Juarez community with a mid-day break, so pack a lunch and spend it with some of the best entertainers our area has to offer. Wednesday Music Café is sponsored by Cricket Communications.
