Beauty & the Bear, 85 Years of Bowie Tradition Fashion Show
Bear Essentials: Empowerment, Impressions & Etiquette club will host Bowie High School’s 85th Anniversary Celebration Fashion Show, Beauty & the Bear, 85 Years of Bowie Tradition, on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at the Bowie Main Gymnasium at 11:30 a.m.
This celebration takes on a whole new perspective. Fashion week has hit the south side! Bear Essentials club members, female student athletes in grades 10 thru 12 and fellow male student athletes will model.
Dillards is providing the Fashions, Lijuro Inc. Model Agency has been working with the Bowie students, in preparation of this extravaganza! Lunch will be served by Carol Koenig’s Celebrations and entertainment will be provided by the Bowie HS Orchestra and the Bowie Dance Ensembles!
The El Paso community has been wonderful with donations for door prizes! Items include purses from Luka 7, D’Elias & Ruby Lola, jewelry from Ella Blu & Homebody, sweets from Cookies by Design & Baby Cakes by Marcy, prom gown from Nono’s, spa certificates, etc. The Junior League of El Paso has generously and graciously provided a grant to underwrite this event.
The show begins at 11:30 a.m. Fashions by Dillards Sunland Park, Make-up by MAC Sunland Park, Hair by Tri-State Cosmetology Institute, Tickets are $10.
