LA VIÑA COUNTRY PICNIC — The winery in La Union, N.M. will host its 9th annual picnic 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 4, featuring music by “Live By Request,” croquet, badminton and a water slide. No coolers or pets allowed. Admission is free, food and beverages available for purchase ($1 sodas, $3 to $7 wine by the glass, $5 wine). Water is free. Guests may bring a picnic and lawn chair or enjoy a hamburger or hotdog from K&B Barbeque. Tents, tables and chairs also set up.
The winery is at 4201 S. NM Highway 28, one mile north of Vinton Road.
