The El Paso Museum of Art Foundation Collectors’ Club (CClub) announces a trip to Santa Fe and Taos, New Mexico Thursday, July 10, 2008 through Sunday, July 13, 2008. This trip is open to the public at a higher non member price.
The Collectors’ Club will depart early Thursday morning for Santa Fe aboard passenger vans. Thursday and Friday the CClub will be in Santa Fe staying at the Santa Fe Hilton which is only two blocks from the Plaza. The Club will attend a reception and viewing of the International Art Fair and meet featured galleries and artists (art work exhibited is for sale for those interested) before it opens to the public, dinner and Falstaff at the Opera, museums and galleries. There will be free time to shop the Plaza and do your own thing as well.
Saturday the CClub travels to Taos for a stay at the Quality Inn and will visit local galleries, museums and other attractions. Highlights will include the Millicent Rogers Museum and Taos Pueblo.
Sunday the Club returns to Santa Fe, but not before a quick visit to the Ghost Ranch where famed artist Georgia O’Keefe stayed and received inspiration for many works. Early Sunday afternoon will be spent in Santa Fe again before the Club returns home to El Paso.

A commitment from those wanting to attend is required by May 14, 2008. Seating is limited. A final count, names, and a deposit of half the ticket price is required by June 2, 2008. Remaining payment is due by July 6, 2008. Accepted are cash, Visa, MasterCard and personal checks. Please write checks out to the El Paso Museum of Art Foundation.
The Collectors’ Club
Founded in December, 2006, the Collectors’ Club has a current membership of 75 members. The Club supports the El Paso Museum of Art Foundation (a non profit organization) by providing funds to purchase artwork for the permanent collection at The El Paso Museum of Art. Club dues are $250 per year for single membership and $400 per year for a couple or shared membership.
