This is one of over 100 stops on DCI's 2008 Summer Music Games tour. Five corps are scheduled to perform, including The Cavaliers from Rosemont, IL, The Santa Clara Vanguard, from Santa Clara, CA, The Blue Knights from Denver, CO, The Madison Scouts from Madison, WI and The Academy from Tempe, AZ

Dr. Curtis Tredway, Director of the UTEP Marching Miners, is the host for this annual event. "DCI is like the big brother to the marching band," said Tredway. "These are groups of 150 brass, percussion, and color guard who perform on an Olympic level. It's band, it's Broadway, it's ballet...all on a stage 100 yards wide. The line-up for our show is great. The Blue Knights are consistently in the DCI top twelve, The Academy already has one DCI championship title, the Madison Scouts are two-time champions, Santa Clara Vanguard are six-time champions, and The Cavaliers are seven-time champions. This is one of the stronger line-ups in the entire DCI tour. It's a perfect event for a family night out."
