The immigration debate turns to the economy by Tom Barry
If pro-immigration groups can make a solid case 1) that the U.S. economy benefits from current and future immigrants, and 2) that the current immigrant crackdown is emblematic of the hate and fear of Bush administration era not of the values of the new Obama America, then sensible and fair immigration reform might be a political possibility.
