Council says no to stormwater takeover; petition drive for referendum starts soonCity Attorney Charles McNabb said if voters approve a takeover referendum in May, the PSB would have to stop collecting stormwater utility fees immediately and bring its work to a halt while the utility is transferred to City Council's control.

UPDATED: Border Wall opponent halts construction at Rio Bosque, then is arrestedA Border Wall opponent who was arrested for briefly stopping construction Wednesday of a portion of the structure will speak at an anti-Wall event Saturday at Cafe Mayapan. The wall is to separate the Rio Bosque Park, a wetland in the Lower Valley that is the last remnant of the thick groves of trees and vegetation that once thrived along the banks of the river, from the Rio Grande.
