Generally, official opposition. But at PSB, a lease for the border wall.The major government bodies in El Paso have joined a lawsuit against the border wall, but Wednesday, the El Paso Public Service Board voted to lease property to the private companies working on the project.

With changes in the bank, $131 million PSB-Hunt land deal just needs to close

The closing date for the $131 million Northeast El Paso land deal, the largest single sale by the PSB, the city's major landowner, is Sept. 29. The last barrier officially was lowered Tuesday with City Council action approving some changes to the master plan governing the property.

Department of Justice sues Housing Authority

McNabb and the Housing Authority reached a settlement March 19 in which "the Housing Authority agreed to pay the charging party $2,000, make certain changes to its promotional interview panels, and allow an outside human resources consultant to monitor the panels," but HACEP backed off the agreement.

Council to PSB: Show us some moneySome discussion about Coke bottles, stormwater and public input. The City Council also took action on a 4-3 vote to bill the PSB for the cost, estimated to be under $100,000, for city crews to suck water from roadways.
