Two dirty words at City Council Monday

 City Council will consider the cost of land considered ideal for a Downtown transit hub. Two words, "eminent" and "domain," came into play. Meanwhile, the question of a permanent Downtwn location for Sun Metro riders lingers.

Centro Mayapan

 On Aug. 28, La Mujer Obrera will have a fundraiser for the new Centro Mayapan, 2101 Myrtle, which will open to the community for the first time. The official grand opening for Centro Mayapan, which will have a festival marketplace and community center, is in February.
