Proposed new ethics rules reach City Council, get delayed by David Crowder
The Ethics Review Commission would, to the extent allowed by Texas law, be able to “issue advisory opinions, conduct investigations, request witness testimony and production of evidence, make determinations on whether a violation has occurred and issue appropriate sanctions.”
