The Glass Beach marketing company was contracted by the city, through SMG, to review how the city is marketed. The product was presented to City Council members recently.

City officials describe the Glass Beach branding presentation as nothing more than an attempt to unify the city’s marketing efforts to create a more positive impression of the area when it comes to economic development. But parts of it have created a negative impression locally.
