In the continuing construction of the Junior League Field of Miracles at Ponder Park, 7500 W H Burges, we are pleased to announce the placing of the DeFargo surface (the specially designed rubberized turf) on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 and Wednesday, March 19, 2008. We are also announcing the partnership with Team Depot from the Home Depot on Rojas. Team Depot will be constructing the announcer’s booth on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 and Thursday, March 20, 2008. Team Depot will have many of their employees at the field building and painting all day Thursday. A small group of employees will be at the field Wednesday to do preliminary work prior to the blitz on Thursday.
We encourage the public and all those interested to come out and watch the Miracles unfold this week. Grand opening will be held Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 12 noon.
