KEPB has partnered with local Firestone Auto Centers for the Great American Clean-Up! Tires will be accepted on April 5, 2008, at Firestone Auto Centers throughout El Paso! As always, clean-up supplies will be available at all 31 KEPB Community Tool Sheds, located at area fire stations throughout El Paso.

Through out the month of April 2008 KEPB, El Paso Police Dept., and Environmental Services will be raising awareness and educating the community regarding the top ten community violations –
Citations will be issued
TOP TEN COMMUNITY VIOLATIONS
1) Accumulation of trash and debris-under the 9.04 of the Health and Safety Municipal Code.
2) Graffiti - Graffiti Removal Hotline 621-6789
3) Junked Vehicles and Abandon Vehicles -under Title 9.08 of the Health and Safety Municipal Code
4) Weed/Grass over 12 inches in Height- under the Health and Safety Municipal Code.
5) Prohibited signs- under 20.18.140 -under Title 20 of the Zoning Municipal Code
6) Broken Sidewalks- Side Walk Maintenance under Title 13 of the Municipal Code-owners have the responsibility to repair and maintained sidewalks.
7) Visibility obstruction/or obstruction of the public right of way (Basketball Hoops) - Title 13 of Municipal Code.
8) Illegal Dumping-under Title 9.04 of the Health and Safety Municipal Code.
9) Oversize Commercial Vehicles in Residential Dwellings or Residential Districts – Under Title 20 of the Zoning Municipal Code
10) Unapproved Parking Surfacing
