The public is invited to join the US Green Building Council’s Chihuahuan Desert Chapter for the presentation “Go Green in a Weekend - 48 Hours to Green your Home and your Life". Take advantage of this fantastic opportunity to learn what you can do to become more sustainable.

Your local USGBC is pleased to present speaker, Mick Dalrymple, named Green Pioneer 2009 by The Business Journal of Phoenix. Dalrymple is a principal at a.k.a. Green Services and a.k.a. Green Environmental Building Supplies in Scottsdale, Arizona. His company offers interior and architectural design services, green building consulting, educational workshops, and a showroom stocked with over 1000 environmental building materials for contractors and consumers.

Mick Dalrymple has been an educator on sustainability topics, including green buildings, green product certifications, industry challenges and solutions for 8 years. His goal this session is to provide guidance and inspiration to people who want to seek a healthier environment for themselves, their families, their companies and the planet..

Please feel free to stay after the program to talk to Mick Dalrymple and local representatives of the USGBC about local and national green building initiatives. The USGBC’s mission is to help the Southwest community become a leader in the green revolution through outreach and education while actively promoting design, construction, and operation of buildings that implement LEED practices and technologies.
