Not sure if my signature will help, but I'm sure it can't hurt. I'm tired of being charged for the misuse of funds by companies and utilities that are ineptly managed. The auto industry wants us to pay $25B to bail them out, but their CEO's all travel in their own private jets! The unions have run the auto industry into the ground, let them go under. Let's have some accountability!!!!

My wife and I are sick and tired of the dishonest injustices that we as El Pasoans fall prey to. We are located in an economically challenged area of Texas yet, we seem to be target of the greatest violations.

We are a city swimming in a sea of corruption. Everybody seems to know everybody, and they all seem to owe each other. Most El Pasoans are working minimum wage jobs and living hand to mouth. A $10.00 an hour job in El Paso is a prized commodity. Apathy is rampant when you have a population that survives from day to day. Local politicians depend on this apathy to get elected. It is outrageous that the likes of Ed Archuleta, Joyce Wilson, John Cook. and "Beto" O'Rourke become wealthy off the backs of the taxpayers of this city. I hope the FBI is here for a very long time and leaves no stone unturned.

This is just one item that infuriates me about my home town. I've lived here all my life, and it seems the Taxes in this town are way above where they should be. This is the reason myself and most of my friends will be leaving El Paso after we retire. And don't blame the state. I have friends that have bigger and newer Homes in San Antonio and Dallas And they pay less taxes.

The 38,000 acres (?) controlled by the PSB is the common heritage of all City residents and should be managed for their benefit, not for the benefit of individual and corporate interests.

Concerned Citizens of El Paso, the people of El Paso need accountability,Master Plan,Transparency and no smoke screens. The calculations to run this city amount to a fifth grade education and the most important simple common sense.

I don't thingk we should pay extra due to poor planning on the water company's part. You should always prepare for the worst b/c you never know when Mother Nature will throw something at you!!!

I have followed the newspaper, radio, and video accounts of this misconduct by City employees and PSB managers for the past year. With the current national economic downturn, it is now more important than ever for El Paso taxpayers to hold the elected politicians and city managers accountable and require them to use the diminishing tax revenue in a more prudent and wise manner. Their (politicians and city managers) thinking is that they can always go into the taxpayers pockets and increase taxes. Those days are gone forever.

Water is a necessity of life. It is not enough that we have to deal with El Paso Water Utilities being a monolopy and pay for these expenditures. We also need to come down hard on our tax and spend mayor who has a vote on the PSB.

El Paso Water Utilities needs to be made into a city department. For many years, the PSB has put special interest developers above the ratepayers and taxpayers of El Paso. Developers and their cronies on the PSB Board of Directors have been in collusion to sell choice parcels of publically owned PSB land for out of control development, leaving the existing homeowners and ratepayers to subsidize infrastructure such as water and sewer, fire stations and schools, police and emergency services. New growth and development needs to pay for itself. El Paso City Council needs to have the courage to represent the people of El Paso and not worry what the El Paso Association of Builders thinks. Some of their members have abused El PAso's development process long enough. There is no accountability of the PSB Board of Directors. Again, EPWU needs to be made into a city department. Then we can hold our city representatives responsible and accountable for actions of the City Water Company, EPWU.
